DAO Treasury Overview
Tab Guide - Aggregated view across all five Scroll DAO multisigs.
DAO Treasury Overview
Overview
The DAO Treasury Overview is the top-level view of the interface. Rather than showing a single multisig in isolation, it pulls data from all five wallets simultaneously and presents a consolidated snapshot of the DAO's financial position, balances, budget consumption, and treasury swap activity in one place.
It is the first option in the wallet selector dropdown, making it the natural starting point for anyone who wants a quick read on the DAO's overall treasury health without drilling into individual multisig tabs.
How to access it
Select "DAO Treasury Overview" from the wallet selector in the top-right corner of the interface. The view loads data from all five multisigs in parallel. Clicking on any of the multisig cards in the overview navigates directly to that wallet's dedicated tab.
What this tab shows
The DAO Treasury Overview is made up of two main sections: the Summary Cards and the Multisig Cards grid.
Summary Cards
Four stat cards at the top of the page give an immediate aggregate read on the whole DAO treasury:
Total DAO Treasury
The combined USD value of all token balances held across all five multisigs. This is the DAO's total on-chain footprint at the current moment.
Fiat Budget
The sum of USDT/fiat quarterly budgets across the Operations & Accountability Committee, Delegates Incentives, and any other USDT-funded wallets. Shows total budget, total spent to date, total remaining, and a progress bar indicating overall utilisation.
SCR Budget
The sum of SCR quarterly budgets across the Community Allocation and Ecosystem Allocation wallets. Shows total SCR budget, total SCR spent to date, total remaining, and a progress bar indicating overall utilisation.
Treasury SCR → USDT Swaps
The total amount of SCR swapped by the Treasury Multisig to date, and the USDT obtained from those swaps. This gives context for how much of the DAO's SCR-denominated budget has been converted into stablecoins.
The progress bars on the Fiat Budget and SCR Budget cards change colour as utilisation increases: they remain neutral at low usage, turn amber at 70%+, and turn red at 90%+. This makes it easy to spot budget pressure at a glance.
Multisig Cards Grid
Below the summary cards, one card is shown per multisig. The cards are displayed in a responsive grid and are ordered to match the wallet list (Treasury first, then the four spending multisigs). Each card is clickable and navigates to that wallet's dedicated tab when selected.
Each card contains the following:
Wallet name and shortened address.
Current Balance: total USD value held in that multisig, plus the three largest token holdings by value.
Budget section(s): one section per budget type (Fiat and/or SCR), showing the quarterly limit, amount spent or transferred, and remaining balance. For the Treasury Multisig, this section shows fund distributions to the other multisigs rather than direct expenses.
The Treasury Multisig card is slightly different from the others because its role is distribution rather than direct spending. It shows:
Fiat Budget (USDT): quarterly limit, total transferred to the spending multisigs, and remaining.
SCR Budget: quarterly limit, SCR swapped to USDT (and USDT obtained), USDT transferred to multisigs, and SCR remaining.
The four spending multisig cards (Operations & Accountability, Delegates Incentives, Community Allocation, Ecosystem Allocation) each show budget vs spent for their respective currency type (USDT or SCR), with progress bars and percentage utilisation.
What it doesn't show
The Overview tab is intentionally high-level. It does not show individual transactions, categorisation controls, or the full Budget vs Spent breakdown per category. For that level of detail, you need to navigate to the specific multisig tab via the wallet selector or by clicking a card in the grid.
There is also no CSV export on the Overview tab; exports are available per-wallet from each multisig tab.
How the data is aggregated
When the Overview tab loads, the interface fires API calls for stats and budget data for all five multisigs simultaneously. The summary card totals are computed client-side by adding up the figures from each wallet's response.
One important nuance: the Fiat Budget and SCR Budget summary cards aggregate figures from the four spending multisigs only (Operations & Accountability, Delegates, Community, Ecosystem) — the Treasury Multisig is excluded from these totals because it is the source of funds, not a spender. Including it would double-count budget figures.
The Total DAO Treasury balance card, on the other hand, does include all five multisigs, since the physical token balances are distinct across each wallet.
